THE INTEL GAMING WORLD RELAY
How can we celebrate the launch of our 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors and bring the gaming world together to raise money for charity and show them the power of gaming for good?
Let's hold a global esports competition and charity fundraiser – bringing together the biggest names in gaming for a five-day live event. Players of all levels were invited to tune in, join one of the four teams and donate to vote on challenges to win big for themselves and charity. We created a live broadcast studio in LA that saw two famous hosts and four shoutcasters lead the action through the week on Twitch and YouTube. Together with brand partners like ASUS, Alienware, SEGA and Acer, the Intel Gaming World Relay drove donations and conversations across the world.
Through the course of the week, we raised more than $100K in donations for our global gaming charities including Make A Wish, SpecialEffect, Child's Play and Safe In Our World. We even created an AR lens for social, following the success of the mascot designs.
